ITINERARY
Day 1: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Depart Arusha after breakfast for Lake Manyara National Park. Afternoon game drive through groundwater forest and along the alkaline lake shore, known for tree-climbing lions, elephants, and flamingos. Overnight camping at a public campsite near Lake Manyara.
Day 2: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Depart Lake Manyara and drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands, arriving in time to settle into camp on the crater rim, with sweeping views into the caldera below.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive among one of Africa’s densest concentrations of wildlife, including the “Big Five.” In the afternoon, ascend and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
